Upgrading a router to the latest ROBIN firmware

510pen testers are seeing improved reliability and stability after upgrading their router to a recent version of ROBIN firmware, as opposed to the older version that has shipped on Open-Mesh routers.*

To install the latest firmware on your Open-Mesh or compatible router, follow these instructions. You will need to use an ethernet cable to hook your router up to a computer running Windows or Linux.

* The problem we have seen with the r1522 and r1523 versions of ROBIN is that some users are unable to reconnect to the access point after powering off their computer or leaving the area and then returning.
